"AMMOMAN" Website

Has anyone else noticed that Ammoman has been out of most everything for well over a month now? At least that's how long I've been checking. I've been looking several times a day, so it's not like He's getting it in, and it's promptly being bought up. Not a good sign if this guy has been out this long. Anyone know or hear anything about this?

I've been checking there too and agree they aren't getting much of anything. I check caliber after caliber and it says they are out. Crazy.

Classic Arms had 2 DPMS rifles listed today for about 15 minutes, that's how long they lasted. They were $999.00 each, came in the hard case and all. Nice looking rifles!

"Eric" or "Marty" the "ammoman" is the lowest form of human excrement.

Do a search, this guy is below the worst bankster. Please, don't do business with him. You have been warned.

And your point is?

The guy has been thrown off of every major firearms forum for FRAUD and THEFT from his customers. Don't take my word for it, google it!

If you like to do business with such scum, that's your problem. Good luck when he ships you a case of Wolf 9mm instead of the Gold Medal Match you ordered and paid for!

I would certainly agree but that is getting really hard to do in this environment.

Get it from whoever, whenever,wherever.

I did just that. I Googled "ammoman fraud", and saw loads of web pages talking about problems.

I've never ordered from Ammoman, but based on what I read, I never will.

Re: "AMMOMAN" Website

This guy makes a sensible post:

I could care less who anyone prefers to deal with.
We all have different reasons for buying or not from one company or another.
I'm just going by my own experiance in dealing with ammoman.

I have ordered from ammoman.com for for the last six or seven years and have never had a problem.
In fact, his delivery time was much quicker than any of the distributers that I dealt with while running
the gun store. Not to mention that his prices were often less than wholesale when shipping was considered.

But, on the internet people who are inclined to believe rumors will believe anything bad said about a person or business and then reject anything good that is said.
I am sure that ammoman has had some dissatisfied customers. Everyone who has ever ran a business has had them.
My question is this: If ammoman is all that bad to deal with, then how has he remained in business for 9+ years?

Right now he has 7.62X39 for $925.00 per 5000 rounds delivered to your door.
That is the cheapest I can find anywhere on the net.

I am putting together a group order for my team mates.
Do the same for your team and buy from your own favoite ammo supplier.
No matter who they are, they will appreciate your business.

All that being said, if anyone finds it cheaper somewhere, please let me knowimage

NWF.

You go your way, I'll go mine. Just got in 100 rds of 50cal AP on time and well packed. Same as all my orders so far. I refuse to jump because some unknown internet poster has a case of the red ass.

as far as ammo goes, I am pretty good. you're correct about the outages though. they are all over the place. reloaders are seeing tight supplies as well. sm rifle primers are like hen's teeth.

I get your drift but it does not apply in this situation. My experience is my own, and thus far, AmmoMan has upheld their end of the bargain. If or when I feel like their customer service is not up to standards, then I will have some personal basis to act, but since all the facts of others' difficulties are not available, making a fully informed decision, based on them, is not possible. Some even question the attribution of that quote to Burke.

That's quite a leap EB.

I have bought from ammoman several times without a problem and would again if he ever gets anymore supply. No matter how much you protest, your words don't trump my experience.

Seems to be way more positive than negative in these posts. Except for the guy that posted the same issue in two of these forums. Wonder what his motive is? I am just a loyal customer with many transactions, all perfect.

I agree that many of the posts (especially the ones early in the threads) seem positive. Apparently (merely from the limited reading about Ammoman online) things are great if there's no mistake or problem with your order. There does seem to be repeated comments about what a jerk Ammoman can be when customers bring up a concern.

Any vendor can sell stuff. What sets some apart, however, is how customer problems are handled.

There were enough customer concerns raised about the way that Ammoman does business to convince me to not do business with him. Just my opinion, worth less than what you paid for it.

Re: "AMMOMAN" Website

I've ordered thousands of rounds and multiple orders through ammoman and never had a problem the only thing close to a problem that I had was that I ordered 1k rounds of Wolf 40 and got Speer Lawman TMJ instead. I think they had run out of the Wolf so they sent the other 40 that they had which was probably 50FRNs or more, more expensive.

I bought from him one time....... But I made a phone order........I dont know if it was the Big dog or not but when I asked about select shotgun and 9mm ammo I was told by the fellow that His stock is on back order with LEO and Large Gubbermint order was placed( cant remeber if it was military or a domestic agency) That he must fill first and that will be quite some time to do.

My one purchase went off with no problem.

Re: "AMMOMAN" Website

It's not just one guy griping about Ammoman.

The guy was a Sponsor of most of the major gun forums, inlcuding ARFCOM a few years ago (read, he was a paid advertiser) and was BANNED, mainly over his fraudulent sale of import marked SKSs as VN bringbacks. This was well known at the time, and only guys who weren't around the internet firearms community at the time have any doubts as to how bad this puke is.

Anyone is free to purchase from whomever they would like. I personally take the stand that if you rip off a brother in arms, you've ripped me off, and not only are you through selling to me, but I'll also take every opportunity to point out your lack of honor at every opportunity.

On the flip side to that, its not just one guy giving props either... Some folks have been ordering from them for years with no issue...

I think anytime you order from a small company like this you stand a good chance of getting what you ordered no probs, but on that off chance that there is a prob, theres a good chance that you won't feel like you got a good resolution...

Sh!t, I think that even goes for the bigger guys... I've seen just as many complaints about Cabaleas and Bass Pro...

I think no matter who you order from you take your chances...

All you can do it take everyones opinion of a place including your own, thow it in a pot stir it up and see what you think of it then, then proceed at your own risk... Suck, but thats the way I have seen it for awhile...

Re: "AMMOMAN" Website

I have ordered twice from AmmoMan.com. Both times I received the correct order, very quickly. However, after reading some of the other comments, it reminds me that my first order was just dropped off at the door (my wife was home when the second order came). The mailman actually pointed it out to me, sitting just off my front step in the flower garden. While I thought it was very strange at the time, I had completely forgotten about it.
Not requiring a signature for something, not only as expensive as ammo, but as potentially dangerous in the wrong hands, is very bad practice.
I was not planning on ordering anything in the near future, but if I ever do, I'll want to clarify that I want it sent "Signature Required."

Thanks.

ammoman has had ammo and it goes up for sale on their website.

However you need to check the website every day as it is sold out in 24 hours or less.
